I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Northern British Columbia School of Education since August 2018 and sessional instructor at St. Mark’s College at UBC. I teach undergraduate students, graduate students, and teacher candidates courses in curriculum development, curriculum and assessment, and quantitative approaches in environmental education. I am a former secondary math and science teacher, sessional instructor at SFU, and member of the Math K-9 Curriculum Development Team; but I am educational consultant and had the pleasure working with CISVA schools with BC’s New Curriculum, writing with FNESC on revising the Math Teachers Resource Guide, and creating learning activities for the Ministry of Eduction – Open Schools BC on their Math Videos Project.
